For deliveries to regional and remote areas, we reserve the right to cancel the order or impose an additional shipping charge should the cost exceed our standard shipping allowance. Should any additional fees apply, a member of our team will contact you to discuss the next steps.
DELIVERY TIMES
We are delivering your orders as fast as we can. Most orders will be dispatched from our warehouse on the same day if placed by12pm AEDT(business days). The shipping estimates below apply after your order leaves our warehouse.

We deliver Australia-wide through Toll IPEC. Estimated delivery time for all orders is 1-7 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. If you would like to track the progress of your order, contact our friendly staff on 0482 723 842.
We make every effort to deliver your products in the estimated delivery time, however due to factors out of our control it is possible that delivery can be delayed, and we do not accept liability for loss or damage suffered as a result.
Estimated Delivery Times
We will deliver your products to the physical address specified on your order; ie unit, apartment numbers need to be written clearly at the time of placing an order. In order for our courier to know exactly where to deliver, all address details need to be included. We do not deliver to PO Boxes. Delivery must be made to an attended physical address and the goods must be signed for. During the checkout process, you can nominate to provide an Authority To Leave, which allows our couriers to leave your goods at your nominated address without a signature when the site is unattended.
Without this authority and in the event that the delivery address is unattended, the goods will be returned to the closest dispatch centre and you will be charged a redelivery fee. This also applies to any goods that were refused to be accepted at the delivery address.
Where a Customer gives written authority for Products to be delivered without a signature, any and all included insurance cover will be voided.

All DYU Electric Bikes come with a 3 Year Warranty on the Frame and 1 Year Warranty on Electronics.
Warranty Service Description
- During the warranty period, if there is a failure due to non-human factors, we will provide free maintenance service.
- If the product is beyond the warranty period or the failure is caused by human factors, we will provide maintenance services at a reasonable cost.
- During the warranty period, if any spare or accessory parts need to be replaced due to quality problems, we will provide a free replacement service.
- If any spare or accessory parts need to be replaced due to non-quality problems, we will provide replacement services at a reasonable cost.
Warranty Exclusions
The following situations are not covered by the warranty:
- Failure or damage caused by unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification of the product.
- Failure or damage caused by improper use, maintenance, or storage of the product.
- Failure or damage caused by accidents, natural disasters, or other external factors.
- Failure or damage caused by using the product in an environment or for a purpose not specified in the user manual.
- Normal wear and tear of consumable parts (such as tires, brake pads, etc.).

The DYU Australia mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by DYU Australia (“DYU Australia”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. By consenting to DYU Australia’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of DYU Australia through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Refund Policy
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Accessories are not included in the refund policy, please ensure you purchase the correct accessory prior to placing an order, we will not be accepting returns on these items.
To start a return, you can contact us at sales@dyuaus.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Yes, most DYU electric bike models have all these extras included. Please refer to product description for details.

Are all DYU batteries fitted with a BMS (Battery Management System)?
Yes, all DYU batteries are fitted with a BMS to help reduce the risk of overcharging, overheating & fires
How do you recharge the battery?
The batteries are charged with a charger. Simply plug it into the wall socket, just like a mobile phone or laptop computer.
How long does it take to charge the electric bike battery?
A full charge could take about 4-6 hours.
How far can you go on one full battery charge?
A 250w, 36V 10Ah battery bike has a typical range between40km to 70km; a 36V 6Ah battery has a typical range between 20 to 40km. The range depends on many factors, including the weight of the rider and luggage, how much the rider pedals, hills, pedal assistance level used and maintenance of the bike like tire pressure and brake clearance. Therefore, it is only possible to give estimates of the range.
Can I remove the battery from the bike?No, the battery is fitted inside the bike.
How fast does it go?The electric bike motor will accelerate you up to 25 km/h.

Do I need a license to ride an E-Bike?
E Bikes are under the same road rules as regular bicycles. E bikes with a motor power of more than 250w, for example 500w or 750w must not be ridden on public roads. They should only be ridden "OFF-ROAD".
Are electric bikes legal in Australia?
Yes absolutely. Our selected electric push bike for sale range all comply with the new European standard and regulations, which as adapted in Australia in May 2012. Electric bikes that meet these new standards are treated like normal bicycles in Australia, so NO requirement for licence or registration and only normal road rules apply in each State of Australia.

How long will it take for my electric bike to arrive? Estimated within 3-10 business days of dispatch. Some remote areas may take longer. Delivery time may vary for different states and can take up to 3 weeks.

Are your electric bicycles waterproof?
Our electric bikes are water-resistant (IP54) rated, but not water-proof and must not be submersed in water. We recommend you do not ride them in heavy rain, through deep puddles and the surf.
Will I need to pedal?
E bikes allow you to choose exactly how much you would like to exercise: you can pedal, use the motor or do both. Using the standard pedal assist settings, you can go up to 25km/h on the flat with light, effortless pedalling. The throttle can also be unlocked to go 25km/h WITHOUT pedalling(for off-road use only)

Are electric bikes safe?
We have only selected quality electric bikes for our range that we test and re test for its safety features. A study has shown that riders of an electric bike are actually safer than a traditional bicycle as it could keep up with the traffic more easily and less likely to take the risks that traditional cyclists takes in order to keep up. The ability for electric bike riders to increase and decrease with minimum effort can encourage safer and more defensive riding.

Are electric bikes cost effective?
Yes, even though electric bikes are initially slightly more expensive than a normal bike, the long term and real cost benefits outweigh the cost when compare to other modes of transports. An electric bike can replace high-cost fuel, public transport, parking, registration and insurance cost.
What does it cost to run an electric bicycle?
A full charge costs approximately 10 cents in electricity.
